The Corvallis School District 509J is seeking a Payroll and Benefits Support Specialist to assist the Human Resources and Business Services departments. This role handles data collection and entry, maintains employee payroll and benefits data, and supports HRMS and timecard systems to ensure accurate processing.
The position is 30 hours per week, regular/probationary, non-exempt, with retirement contributions through PERS/OPSRP and a 260-workday calendar.
Provides specialized support to both the Human Resources and Business Services departments, including data collection & entry, maintenance of employee data as it relates to payroll, benefits, and support for all related systems.

Rate: $30.22/hr with benefits
Retirement Contribution: Corvallis School District participates in the Oregon Public Employee Retirement System (PERS and OPSRP) on behalf of its employees. Upon eligibility, the district contributes 6% of an employee's salary to their Individual Account Program (IAP). Eligibility is defined as working at least six full calendar months in a qualifying position. Part-time employees working at least six months and 600 hours in a calendar year will qualify.

While performing the duties of the position, the employee works with standard office and or instructional equipment with moving mechanical parts. The employee frequently is required to use hands for fine and repetitive manipulation and required to sit for long periods of time.
The employee regularly must lift, move, and/or carry up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
