The Corvallis School District is seeking a Payroll and Benefits Technician to provide specialized support to Human Resources and Business Services. You will manage payroll and benefits data, support HRMS and timecard systems, and handle data entry with discretion.
This 30-hour/week role offers a stable schedule, benefits, and opportunities to streamline processes across district facilities in Corvallis, Oregon.
PURPOSE: Provides specialized support to both the Human Resources and Business Services departments, including data collection & entry, maintenance of employee data as it relates to payroll, benefits, and support for all related systems.

Retirement Contribution:Corvallis School District participates in the Oregon PublicEmployee Retirement System (PERS and OPSRP) on behalf of its employees. Upon eligibility, the district contributes 6% of an employee's salary to their Individual Account Program (IAP). Eligibility is defined as working at least six full calendar months in a qualifying position. Part-time employees working at least six months and 600 hours in a calendar year will qualify.

While performing the duties of the position, the employee works with standard office and or instructional equipment with moving mechanical parts. The employee frequently is required to use hands for fine and repetitive manipulation and required to sit for long periods of time.
The employee regularly must lift, move, and/or carry up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or ... 40 pounds.
