Job summary

Utah Transit Authority is seeking a Payroll Analyst to ensure accurate, compliant payroll for a unionized workforce. The role focuses on timely processing, policy adherence, and accurate year-end reporting while handling garnishments and payroll inquiries.

The position requires in-office work with potential for limited work-from-home days after training, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and ERP systems is essential.

Qualifications

• Three years payroll experience with ERP for 500+ employees.
• Experience in a union environment preferred.
• CPP designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and audit timely and accurate processing of companywide payroll.
• Provide expertise in processing payroll per UTA policies, union contract, and regulations.
• Manage garnishment, leave balances, payroll inquiries and discrepancies.
• Collaborate on year-end activities, audits, and tax filing.
• Maintain knowledge of Workday payroll system.
