Job summary

TSMC is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Analyst to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing at our Phoenix, AZ facility. Responsibilities include handling semi-monthly and bi-weekly payroll, updating records for new hires and changes, and preparing reports in compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

You will work closely with HR and Finance to resolve inquiries and support audits, using Excel and MS Office tools to balance payroll data and ensure internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field required; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to accuracy.
• Understanding of accounting fundamentals and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process semi-monthly and bi-weekly payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, taxes, and deductions.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and reports, ensuring compliance with laws and policies.
• Analyze data and perform reconciliations for audits and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance to address inquiries and improve payroll processes.
• Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation.
