Job summary

TSMC Arizona is seeking a Payroll Analyst to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local laws. You will analyze payroll data, resolve discrepancies, prepare reports, and support audits with HR and Finance.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and strong analytical skills are required.

• Knowledge of payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to accuracy.
• Excellent organizational skills and great attention to detail.
• Understanding of accounting fundamentals.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem analysis skills and ability to develop effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Process semi-monthly and bi-weekly payroll transactions including salaries, shift premiums, benefits, garnishments, taxes, deductions, G/L entries, tax position changes, and adjustments.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates (new hires, terminations, pay class, time zone, and rate changes).
• Prepare and maintain accurate payroll records and reports, ensuring compliance with payroll laws.
• Perform analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
