Job description

Join to apply for the PAYROLL ANALYST role at Seminole Gaming.

As a Payroll Analyst on our team, you are an essential part of the Global Payroll Shared Services team, which provides payroll to approximately 25,000 team members. This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining payroll procedures and system configuration, and providing quality processing services and error-free payroll to our team members.

Responsibilities
  1. Accurate, consistent, and timely payroll processing in accordance with established deadlines and policies.
  2. Effective communication to all team members and outside vendors.
  3. Respond in a professional and timely manner to all payroll-related questions.
  4. Ensure payroll information is kept confidential at all times.
  5. Reconcile various types of income, including tips.
  6. Configure Deduction and earning codes within the proper Pay Component Groups.
  7. Conduct monthly analysis of earnings and deduction code usage to determine any variances that may result in a payroll adjustment or correction.
  8. Maintain Checklists and SOPs.
  9. Assist with UKG Time Keeping Pay rules and Business Structure maintenance.
  10. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns.
  11. Assist the managers in devising processes and controls to operate effectively while managing risk.
  12. Assist in the day-to-day payroll operations for all areas covered by the team, coordinating with vendors and internal teams to deliver accurate, timely, and effective pay within all regulatory, labor, and tax guidelines.
  13. Assist with internal and external audits, including internal audit, SOX, tax audits, etc.
  14. Collaborate with HR on regional initiatives, ensuring coordinated rollout.
  15. Maintain strong relationships with the People team, including Benefits, Global Mobility, Operations, Finance, Shared Services, and other internal stakeholders.
  16. Support payroll functions during acquisitions and expansion initiatives.
  17. Document and train payroll processes.
  18. Assist with new system implementations.
Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of full payroll cycle processing experience.
  • Experience with Workday or ADP.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred but not required.
  • Experience in multi-state and union environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Project management skills.
  • Clear and effective written communication.
  • Team-oriented attitude and customer service focus.
