Title: Payroll Analyst
Pay: $30.00 – $35.00/hr
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Louisville, KY 40223 (On-site only)
3 month contract with potential to convert to perm Overview This role requires an experienced payroll professional to process multi-location payrolls with union and non-union employee groups using Ceridian Dayforce. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of payroll tax compliance, collective bargaining agreements (CBAs), and have strong auditing and problem-solving skills. This role is fully on-site with potential for full-time conversion. Job Description

• Accurately process payroll for multiple locations and employee groups (union and non-union).
• Manage complex payroll calculations using Ceridian Dayforce.
• Apply proper pay categories, taxes, benefits, and deductions.
• Conduct proactive payroll audits and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with HR and department heads to ensure data accuracy.
• Respond to payroll inquiries and troubleshoot payroll issues.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and accurate payroll documentation.
• Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Prepare reports including Form 941, year-end filings, garnishments, and audits.
• Maintain current knowledge of tax laws and payroll regulations.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of payroll experience (multi-location).
• Expertise in Ceridian Dayforce or similar systems.
• Experience with union payrolls and CBAs.
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax compliance and reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
• Detail-oriented with excellent auditing and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience handling garnishments and payroll deductions.
• Service-oriented with a professional demeanor.
• Payroll Certification (CPP) is a plus.
