Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll, HRIS, payroll operations, or related experience.
• Experience with payroll systems and timekeeping platforms.
• Strong attention to detail with large data sets.
• Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Bonus: 4+ years in a multi-state or multi-entity environment.
• Knowledge of payroll tax regulations and garnishment processing.
• Experience supporting inquiries in shared services, HR, payroll, or benefits.

What you’ll own

Support the end-to-end payroll process across multiple payroll cycles, ensuring team members are paid accurately and on time. Review and audit timekeeping records, process payroll adjustments, and maintain payroll-related data within HRIS and payroll systems. Assist with payroll compliance activities, including garnishments, tax levies, child support orders, and payroll reporting requirements. Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies while providing responsive support to team members with payroll and timekeeping inquiries. Maintain accurate employee records, process updates such as tax elections and direct deposit changes, and support payroll reporting and audits.

What you’ll bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of payroll, HRIS, payroll operations, or related experience.
• Experience working with payroll systems, time and attendance platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage large volumes of data accurately and efficiently.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• It’s a bonus if you have 4+ years of payroll experience in a multi-state or multi-entity environment.
• Working knowledge of payroll tax regulations, wage and hour requirements, and garnishment processing.
• Experience supporting employee inquiries in a shared services, HR, payroll, or benefits environment.
