Job summary

Silna is seeking a meticulous technical writer with foundational knowledge of revenue cycle management, particularly prior authorization, to produce and maintain checklists, requirement guides, and process documentation that are accurate, consistently formatted, and easy for the team to follow.

A portion of the role involves original research into payor-specific submission processes to keep documentation current; expect emphasis on consistency, structure, and zero ambiguity for readers.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of revenue cycle management (RCM), with familiarity with prior authorization processes.
• Strong technical writing skills; ability to produce clear, structured, standardized documentation.
• Experience creating checklists, SOPs, and style guides for reference materials.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a track record of low-error output.
• Ability to work independently and bring structure to ambiguous processes.
• Comfort annotating or tagging structured content for documentation systems.
• Strong written communication and openness to feedback.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain clear, standardized documentation of payor requirements, submission processes, and authorization workflows.
• Build and refine checklists for prior authorization and benefit verification submissions across payors, ensuring consistent format and terminology.
• Annotate and tag source materials with structured labels for internal reference and systems use.
• Edit and standardize documentation drafted by others to ensure consistent style and detail level.
• Keep documentation current as payor policies change, with version tracking.
• Proofread and quality-check all documentation for accuracy, consistency, and clarity.
