Job summary

Certegy Payment Solutions is seeking a Payments Risk Analyst to monitor fraud and risk across multiple clients within a high-volume real-time payments environment. The role requires collaboration with finance, data science, and product teams, and the ability to clearly communicate risk insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Onsite roles are available in Westlake, TX or Clearwater, FL, with a focus on maintaining dashboards and reporting to executives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
2–3+ years in payments risk or fraud analytics.
Experience with fraud detection and risk optimization.
Strong written and verbal communication to stakeholders.
Payments industry experience in ACH, RTP/FedNow, BNPL, checks, or alternative methods preferred.

Responsibilities

Analyze transactional data for fraud, returns, and loss trends.
Forecast client risk performance and adjust controls based on trends.
Collaborate with data science to translate findings into model enhancements.
Design and maintain risk controls balancing loss and acceptance.
Support incident response for significant fraud events and coordinate with teams.
Evaluate strategy performance by tracking key risk metrics.
Document risk strategies and audit-ready outputs.
Partner with clients to review trends and best practices.
Develop executive dashboards to communicate performance and risk.
