Job summary

Matlen Silver is seeking an experienced SDET/QA Automation Engineer to support a Wire Transfer Technology team in Charlotte, NC or Jersey City, NJ. The role requires 5-7+ years of QA automation; hands-on Java, Selenium, and Playwright; and deep Payments domain knowledge.

The candidate will develop and maintain automated test frameworks, perform end-to-end testing of payment and wire transfer workflows, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve QA processes.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of QA/SDET automation experience.
• Hands-on Selenium and Playwright experience.
• Strong Payments industry experience.
• Experience with payment systems or financial transaction processing.
• Experience with automation frameworks and end-to-end testing.
• Payments experience with Wire Transfers, ACH, SWIFT, RTP, FedNow, SEPA, CHIPS, ISO 20022, Money Transfer Systems, ACI Worldwide, Treasury Management, or Core Banking is highly relevant.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Build automation using Java, Selenium, and Playwright.
• Test payment and wire transfer applications and workflows.
• Troubleshoot defects and collaborate with development and business teams.
• Improve test automation and overall QA processes.
