Job summary

Matlen Silver is seeking an experienced SDET / QA Automation Engineer to support a Wire Transfer Technology team in Charlotte, NC or Jersey City, NJ for 12–18 months on a W2 basis. The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years of QA automation experience with hands-on Java, Selenium, and Playwright, plus testing of payment systems and financial transactions.

You will develop automated test frameworks, perform functional/regression testing, and collaborate with developers and business teams to improve QA

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of QA automation experience
• Strong Java experience
• Hands-on Selenium and Playwright experience
• Strong Payments industry experience
• Experience with payment systems or financial transaction processing
• Experience with automation frameworks and end-to-end testing
• Payments experience with Wire Transfers, ACH, SWIFT, RTP, FedNow, SEPA, CHIPS, ISO 20022, Money Transfer Systems, ACI Worldwide, Treasury Management, or Core Banking is highly relevant

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Build automation using Java, Selenium, and Playwright
• Test payment and wire transfer applications and workflows
• Troubleshoot defects and collaborate with development and business teams
• Improve test automation and overall QA processes
