Job summary

Engine is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Payments to own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for payments acceptance, card issuing, and the financial infrastructure that underpins every transaction.

You will partner with engineering, design, partnerships, and go-to-market to expand capabilities, integrate new payment methods and partners, balance long-term platform bets with near-term wins, and raise the AI bar across Payments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in product management, with ownership of backend/platform products.
• Bonus points: direct payments/fintech experience, with payment acceptance or card issuing exposure.
• Ability to work with engineering on architecture, tradeoffs, and system design.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy, roadmap, and execution for Payments platform (acceptance, issuing, infra).
• Lead cross-functional initiatives with engineering, design, partnerships, and GTM.
• Expand payment methods and partner ecosystem while balancing long-term bets and near-term wins.
• Raise the AI bar across Payments and drive AI-powered features and workflows.
• Represent Payments in executive discussions and internal forums, ensuring clear communication.
