Twitch Interactive, Inc. is seeking a Software Development Manager for Payments to lead a team responsible for the purchase experiences millions rely on and the payments infrastructure supporting creators around the world.

You'll guide architecture, vendor integrations, and performance at sub‑second scale, while coaching engineers and partnering with product, finance, and compliance to drive impact.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years as an engineering manager leading teams of 5+ engineers.
• Strong background building and shipping web-scale payments-related software.
• Experience with cloud services, system design, and Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers to design, build, and operate high‑volume payment systems.
• Own roadmap planning, execution, and operational excellence for the payments platform.
• Coach and promote senior engineers, driving career growth and promotions.
• Make hands‑on architectural decisions on vendor integrations and data accuracy.
• Collaborate with product, finance, and compliance to shape what is built.
• Navigate ambiguity and keep the team aligned with shifting priorities.
