We are looking for an engineering manager to lead our Payments team, the system through which every dollar on Twitch flows. Your team builds the purchase experiences that millions of viewers use daily and the payment infrastructure that enables 7+ million creators to earn a living doing what they love. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you will own real technical problems: orchestrating payments across multiple third‑party vendors, maintaining sub‑second response times at global scale, modernizing legacy systems while keeping the lights on, and ensuring every transaction is accurate down to the penny. You'll lead a team of ~5‑7 engineers, many of them senior, and you'll be expected to go deep on architecture decisions alongside them. This role has a unique position at the center of Twitch’s business, touching every monetization product and granting you direct visibility to senior leadership. You will also report to a senior level engineering leader, gain exposure to cross‑organizational strategy, and have the opportunity to expand your scope as the team and business grow.
