Job summary

Sutton Bank seeks a Payments Risk Manager to support the Payments Risk Committee Chairperson, review PRC and CR submissions, and prepare agenda materials with internal and external teams.

The role oversees risk assessments, FDIC requests, program watchlists, and audits of Fact Sheets and PCRs, coordinating across departments and supervising the Partnerships Operations team to ensure timely, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• Three to five years of Payments, Compliance, or Fraud Management experience.
• Previous supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the Payments Risk Committee Chairperson and review PRC/CR submissions.
• Prepare agenda documents and meet with internal/external teams.
• Compose and distribute PRC meeting minutes; present to the Board.
• Assist in program risk assessments and ensure timely cross-department completion.
• Manage FDIC requests including Inventory Log and Master List of Programs.
• Oversee Fact Sheets, PCRs, and audits to keep programs aligned with approved sheets.
• Identify risk factors and propose mitigation strategies.
• Monitor payments program watchlist and report updates to stakeholders.
• Oversee Partnerships Operations team; support Senior Account Managers.
• Lead special projects like vendor onboarding, account actions, and contract renewal.
• Participate in procedure/policy creation and implementation.
• Supervise Partnerships Operational Support staff; work with HR on development.
