Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and support payment orchestration services that manage the money lifecycle for omni-channel orders. You will integrate IBM Sterling OMS with downstream payment processors and tender systems, building resilient microservices on GKE, PCF/Cloud Foundry, and on-prem environments.

You will work on payment workflows including authorization, fraud hold management, reverse authorization, billing, and refunds, ensuring high-volume

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Experience building distributed microservices in production.
• Backend development with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with IBM Sterling OMS and integration with external systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain microservices with a focus on value delivery.
• Contribute to delivery, learning, and planning within agile processes.
• Collaborate with team to ensure user stories are valuable, dev-ready, and testable.
• Support junior engineers through guidance and technical discussions.
