Job summary

The Home Depot U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and support payment orchestration services that manage the full money lifecycle for omni-channel orders within COM.

You will integrate IBM Sterling OMS with downstream processors and tender systems, delivering resilient microservices across GKE and PCF/Cloud Foundry. Responsibilities include building and testing code, participating in agile planning, ensuring high availability and observability, and mentoring junior

Qualifications

Experience building distributed microservices in a production environment.
Hands-on backend development with Java and Spring Boot in production.
Experience integrating with IBM Sterling OMS and external enterprise systems.
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes environments.
Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems.

Responsibilities

Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain payment orchestration microservices.
Work with agile teams to ensure deliverables meet business needs.
Collaborate with Product and Operations for reliable, observable systems.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical discussions.
