Job summary

Convergenz is seeking a Digital Payments Operations Specialist for a 6-month contract with hybrid work locations in Pensacola, FL, Winchester, VA, and Vienna, VA. Shifts include 7:00pm-3:30am, 3:00am-11:30am, and 11:00am-7:30pm.

Qualifications

Knowledge of payment rails (wire transfers, cashier's checks, faster payments, Western Union) and related processes.
Understanding of OFAC screening, BSA requirements, fraud controls.
Ability to analyze complex payment scenarios and resolve exceptions.
Maintains accuracy in reviewing instructions and documentation.
Communicates effectively with team and stakeholders to meet objectives.

Responsibilities

Review payment instructions, account information, and supporting docs to prevent errors.
Monitor and apply OFAC screening and fraud controls in daily operations.
Analyze complex payment scenarios to identify root causes and resolve exceptions.
Balance customer service with risk considerations and operational needs.
