Job summary

PINPOINT Resource Group is seeking a Full Time Payments Manager in the healthcare sector. This role is remote with Eastern Time zone requirements and occasional travel (1–2 times per year).

You will oversee daily payment posting and cash application across all sites and payors, manage offshore support teams, and drive process improvements to ensure timely refunds and accurate reconciliations. A strong background in healthcare revenue cycle and Excel is essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in healthcare revenue cycle with a focus on payment posting and cash management.
• Experience managing offshore or outsourced operational teams preferred.
• Strong Excel skills; experience with EHR/billing platforms (WellSky, HHAExchange, or similar).
• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong attention to detail and process-improvement mindset.

• Manage and reconcile credit balances; ensure timely and compliant refunds where required.
• Oversee contract and paper-based payment processing workflows.
• Direct and develop the offshore payments support team, ensuring SLA and quality standards are met.
• Monitor unapplied cash and aging credit balance reports; drive resolution timelines.
• Develop, document, and enforce payment posting policies and procedures.
• Partner with Billing and AR Managers on payment variance research and reconciliation.
• Track and report key performance indicators to the SVP, RCM Operations.

Full Time Payments Manager Position in the Healthcare Industry, Remote but EST Required, and will require occasional travel (1-2 times per year)

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily payment posting and cash application across all sites and payors
• Manage and reconcile credit balances; ensure timely and compliant refunds where required
• Oversee contract and paper-based payment processing workflows
• Direct and develop the offshore (AGS) payments support team, ensuring SLA and quality standards are met
• Monitor unapplied cash and aging credit balance reports; drive resolution timelines
• Develop, document, and enforce payment posting policies and procedures
• Partner with Billing and AR Managers on payment variance research and reconciliation
• Track and report key performance indicators (posting turnaround time, credit balance aging, error/rework rates) to the SVP, RCM Operations

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in healthcare or home care revenue cycle, with a focus on payment posting and cash management
• Prior experience managing offshore or outsourced operational teams strongly preferred
• Strong Excel skills; experience with EHR/billing platforms (e.g., WellSky, HHAExchange, or similar)
