Job summary

Roblox Corporation is seeking a Senior Payments Compliance Manager to design and enforce global KYC, AML, and sanctions programs. You will build end-to-end processes, policies, and controls that scale with Roblox's payments platform and partners, working closely with Legal, Product, Engineering, and Finance teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in financial crime compliance with deep expertise in KYC, AML, and/or sanctions programs.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in law, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Direct experience building or operationalizing KYC/CDD programs, including vendor selection and workflow design.
• Strong working knowledge of BSA/AML regulatory requirements and OFAC sanctions frameworks.
• Experience filing SARs and engaging with FinCEN, OFAC, or other regulators.
• Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into scalable operational processes and product controls.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with Product and Engineering teams on compliance design.
• Certification such as CAMS or CGSS is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continuously improve Roblox's end-to-end KYC program, including CDD, EDD, and ongoing monitoring.
• Develop and maintain AML policies, procedures, and controls aligned to regulatory requirements.
• Build and operate a sanctions program aligned with OFAC and global equivalents, including screening and escalation workflows.
• Conduct periodic risk assessments to evaluate KYC/AML/sanctions exposure across products and geographies.
• Serve as SME and escalation point for complex regulatory issues including SARs and regulatory inquiries.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to embed compliance into payments features and scale controls.
• Lead and develop the Payments Compliance program with the Head of Compliance.
• Track evolving regulatory requirements and update the program accordingly.
• Conduct due diligence on third-party payment partners and processors to meet regulatory expectations.
