Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Data Analyst in SMB Payments to elevate analytics capabilities, strengthen core reporting, and help design AI-augmented analytics that improve understanding of partner and merchant behavior.

In this role, you will build durable reporting, identify key metrics, conduct deep-dive analyses, and partner with Product, Sales, Marketing, Account Management, and Risk to drive upsell and cross-sell initiatives while applying GenAI to unlock insights from unstructured data.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in analytics delivering business-critical insights.

Responsibilities

• Identify, define, and maintain core SMB Payments metrics; build scorecards and dashboards.
• Perform deep-dive analyses to surface trends and root causes; translate findings into actions.
• Build scalable datasets and self-service analytics assets with documentation.
• Partner with Product and commercial teams to size opportunities and measure upsell outcomes.
• Apply LLMs and AI techniques to augment analytics workflows and reduce time-to-insight.
• Help design and run LLM evaluation and monitoring, improving prompts and retrieval approaches.
• Diagnose issues in models/pipelines (data issues, drift, prompt failures).
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, and Risk to ensure secure, compliant AI solutions.
