Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in the United States is seeking a Product Director for Domestic Payments & Gaming to lead customer‑centric development and shape strategic product innovations.

You will drive the roadmap, mentor a cross‑functional team, and partner with Engineering, Design, Risk, Legal, and Operations to deliver impactful solutions. The role emphasizes data‑driven decision making, OKRs, and performance monitoring, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years delivering products, projects, or technology applications.
  • Extensive knowledge of the product development lifecycle, design, and data analytics.
  • Proven ability to influence key product lifecycle activities including discovery and value management.
  • Experience driving change within organizations and coordinating stakeholders across functions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets.
  • Leads the full product lifecycle from planning through future development, adapting and delivering new methodologies.
  • Coaches and mentors the product team on best practices, such as market research and prototyping.
  • Owns product performance and invests in enhancements to achieve business objectives.
  • Monitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities for differentiation.
  • Drives stakeholder management across Engineering, Design Data, Risk/Controls, Legal/Compliance, Operations, and leadership.
  • Defines and tracks OKRs/KPIs, using data to prioritize backlog and improve performance.
  • Partners with go-to-market and change management for launches and adoption.
  • Periodic travel is required.

As a Product Director in Domestic Payments & Gaming, you lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. As a leader on the team, you leverage your advanced capabilities to challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation that helps inspire cross‑functional teams create groundbreaking solutions that address customer needs.

Job responsibilities
  • Oversees the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets
  • Leads the entire product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving business targets like cost, features, reusability, and reliability to support growth
  • Coaches and mentors the product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind‑mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives
  • Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives
  • Monitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities for product differentiation
  • Drives stakeholder management across Engineering, Design Data, Risk/Controls, Legal/Compliance, Operations, and senior leadership‑aligning outcomes, negotiating trade‑offs, and ensuring timely decisions and communication throughout delivery
  • Defines and tracks OKRs/KPIs (e.g. adoption, engagement, conversion, SLA/latency, defect rate, NPS, revenue/cost‑to‑serve), using data and experimentation to prioritize the backlog and continuously improve product performance
  • Partners with go‑to‑market and change management including launch planning, training/readiness, documentation, and post‑launch support— drive adoption and measurable business impact
  • Periodic travel is required
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications
  • Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Recognized thought leader within a related field
  • Proven project management experience, self‑directed, able to work independently and within groups
  • Strong team building and influencing skills
