JPMorganChase in New York seeks a Product Director in Global Payments to lead customer-centric development and drive strategic product initiatives across the payments landscape. Responsibilities

• Hands-on management of the product roadmap, development, execution, risk management, and growth targets for Access experiences using data-driven decisions.
• Oversee product lifecycle governance: budgeting, planning, execution, and future development with attention to cost, adoption, and reliability.
• Influence and manage global senior stakeholders across the payments ecosystem.
• Establish and maintain strong product governance frameworks and ensure compliance across teams.
• Drive delivery of complex initiatives with best-in-class project management to meet scope, budget, and timelines.
• Own product performance and invest in enhancements to achieve business objectives.
• Monitor market trends, conduct competitive analysis, and identify opportunities for differentiation in payments and cash management.
• Coach and mentor the product team on best practices including market research, prototyping, and product adoption.

Job responsibilities

• Hands-on management of the product roadmap, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets, for Access experiences using data to support decision making
• Leads the product lifecycle adherence through budgeting, planning, execution, and future development by continuously monitoring business targets such as cost, features adoption, and reliability to support growth
• Influences and manages global senior stakeholders across the payments ecosystem, driving change and alignment in complex matrixed organizations
• Establishes and maintains strong product governance frameworks, staying in the details to ensure compliance with internal and external processes across teams
• Drive successful delivery of complex product initiatives using best-in-class project management methodologies, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget
• Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives
• Monitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities for product differentiation, particularly in payments and cash management
• Coaches and mentors the product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications with a strong focus on payments and transaction banking
• Knowledge of Payments and Transaction Banking industries
• Knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics, and governance frameworks
• Proven ability to influence and drive adoption of key product life cycle activitiescusing data
• Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
• Exceptional stakeholder management and leadership skills to drive change, lead cross functional teams, and deliver products from conception to launch
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences
• Deep knowledge of payments, cash management, global transaction banking, liquidity, and receivables
• Accustomed to working with agile and iterative development methodologies, starting with design thinking
• Proven ability to navigate complex, matrixed organizations

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Recognized thought leader within payments or a related field
• Experience with business intelligence, data analytics, and vendor management
• Experience leading across multiple product areas, with a track record of successful governance and project management
