OpenLoop is hiring a Patient Support Specialist to join our remote team. In this role, you'll deliver high-quality, empathetic support to patients while quickly becoming a subject matter expert across patient care functions. You'll identify gaps in care, propose improvements, and ensure a seamless experience tailored to each client’s needs. What You'll Do

  • Become a subject matter expert across multiple patient support functions, processes, and client programs.
  • Identify and escalate gaps in patient care or service delivery to ensure timely resolution and improved outcomes.
  • Utilize various software platforms and tools to document, track, and resolve patient inquiries.
  • Provide professional, compassionate, and high-quality support to patients via phone, email, chat, or other communication channels.
  • Understand and adapt to the unique workflows and care models of each healthcare client.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (clinical, operational, and technical) to improve processes and enhance the patient experience.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy during all patient interactions.
  • Adhere to HIPAA and other healthcare compliance standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of experience in a patient-facing or healthcare support role.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare services, terminology, and patient care coordination.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on active listening and empathy.
  • Comfortable using and learning multiple software tools and systems.
  • Proven ability to identify process gaps and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.

Remote Salary Range: $45,000 USD - $55,000 USD
