Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Certified Coder Payment Recovery Specialist to review records for coding errors and correct codes in billing systems to maximize reimbursement. you will analyze complex data and stay current with coding standards and healthcare regulations.

You will identify payer/system trends, ensure compliant billing, and communicate with courteous professionalism to internal and external customers. Experience with Centricity or similar modules is preferred.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in medical coding and/or billing for physician office services.
• Proficiency assigning ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifiers.
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and related coding credentials.

Responsibilities

• Review records for coding errors and correct diagnostic and procedural codes for reimbursement.
• Analyze and interpret complex data daily.
• Identify and communicate payer and system trends to Management.
• Maintain knowledge of payer contracts, regulations, and guidelines for accurate billing.
