United Surgical Partners International Inc (USPI) is seeking an onsite Payment Poster to support routine patient accounting tasks at the Lawrenceville Surgery Center. The role focuses on processing patient payments within the PAS, posting across payment channels, and ensuring accurate daily batch totals for closeout.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 months of related experience, with strong communication and basic math skills to interact with patients,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 months of related experience or training preferred.
• Excellent communication and mathematical skills for patient accounting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Process payments for the surgery center in the Patient Accounting System (PAS).
• Post all daily payments (in-person, mail, credit card, EFTs) to PAS and verify batch totals.
• Balance and close all batches daily and handle EFTs via Zirmed as needed.
• Follow up on aging denials and payor issues to assist collectors.
• Collaborate with billing coordinator, collection specialist, and scheduler to ensure accurate charges.
