Job summary

Keesler Federal Credit Union is seeking a Payment Operations Specialist II to perform daily processing for ACH transactions, share draft exceptions, wires, foreign checks, and other payment activities with accuracy and strong documentation.

Under general supervision, you will assist team members and members with escalated questions, adhere to NACHA and federal regulations, and maintain KFCU’s Service Standards, Mission, and Vision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CPD Online courses as assigned.
• One to three years of related experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Proficient typing and data entry skills required.
• Excel knowledge preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Confidentiality, dependability, and professionalism required.

Responsibilities

• Independently and consistently perform the Payment Operations Specialist I duties.
• Communicate effectively with members and team; provide quality service.
• Process ACH unposted exceptions, payroll files, EFT setups/changes, ACH disputes, returns, and related files.
• Post and return ACH items in compliance with daily deadlines.
• Research and resolve ACH errors and member inquiries.
• Process share draft adjustments, exceptions, returns, disputes, and escheatment.
