Figma is seeking a Developer Advocate focused on Payload to partner with Marketing, Sales, and Product. Promote Payload integrations, create content, and engage with the Payload community. The role can be based in NYC, SF, or remotely across the United States.

You will champion user voices, triage issues on GitHub, and speak at industry events to share real-world design insights and drive go-to-market strategies.

Qualifications

• Have deep, hands-on expertise with Payload and experience integrating it within real product teams.
• Comfortable operating in evolving workflows, including CMS, DAM, design systems, and AI-assisted design or prototyping.
• Passionate about engaging with and contributing to the design or developer community.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for Payload: Promote Payload and Payload + Figma integrations to developers inside and outside Figma.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Experience to unlock Payload in real workflows.
• Triage GitHub issues and community PRs; label, reproduce, route, and coordinate with engineering.
• Create technical content for Payload + Figma: tutorials, demos, videos, templates, livestreams.
• Foster relationships within the Payload community and identify collaboration opportunities.
• Speak at events and co-marketing opportunities; share practical design insights.
• Champion user voices; advocate internally to inform product decisions.
