Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an Associate Director, Payer Strategy Enablement to support the U.S. Market Access Payer Strategy organization by driving strategic planning, operational excellence, and execution of key priorities across therapeutic areas and customer segments.

This role partners with Payer Strategy leaders to strengthen organizational effectiveness, enhance cross-functional coordination, and drive consistency in governance, tools, and resources across Market Access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Master’s preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in Market Access or related functions.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution.
• Ability to influence across matrixed organizations without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Support annual strategic planning, reviews, and priority setting across Payer Strategy teams.
• Coordinate planning cycles, milestones, deliverables, and leadership priorities across therapeutic areas.
• Lead development of reporting tools, dashboards, trackers, and planning resources.
• Drive consistency in planning, reporting, governance, and execution across teams.
• Support training calendars and knowledge-sharing across Market Access.
