Job description

Our Mission

Our mission is to improve health equity by expanding access to cancer precision medicine.

About Trial Library

Trial Library, Inc. is a venture-backed startup founded in 2022 focused on accelerating enrollment and retention in clinical trials with an AI‑platform. The company is dedicated to improving health equity in cancer care by expanding access to precision medicine through clinical trials. It works with community oncology sites, patients, and industry partners to ensure that clinical research is accessible, navigable, and inclusive.

Payer Partnerships Lead – This role oversees the development, execution, and refinement of our payer vertical strategy. The successful candidate will own the go‑to‑market motion for health plans, employer‑sponsored health plans, and other risk‑bearing entities, ensuring that Trial Library’s offerings align with partner priorities around cost savings, access to innovation, and member health equity. The position reports to the Chief Executive Officer.

Your Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the payer go‑to‑market strategy, including market segmentation, messaging, and commercial model refinement.
  • Lead end‑to‑end payer and employer‑sponsored plan partnerships – from initial engagement through contracting, onboarding, and long‑term growth.
  • Develop and refine value propositions for payers and employers, highlighting ROI, improved member experience, and contributions to health equity.
  • Oversee all partnership activities for the payer vertical, including pipeline development, deal execution, and account management.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (product, clinical operations, data) to ensure partner requirements are integrated into product development and delivery.
  • Establish clear KPIs and performance dashboards to measure impact and success with payer partners.
  • Serve as a market‑facing leader at payer, employer, and healthcare industry conferences and forums, building Trial Library’s reputation as a trusted partner.
Your Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in payer partnerships, employer‑sponsored plans, business development, or strategy in healthcare, digital health, or managed care.
  • Proven ability to build, negotiate, and close contracts with health plans and/or employers.
  • Deep understanding of payer incentives, risk‑sharing models, and employer benefit strategies.
  • Demonstrated success in leading go‑to‑market strategies for new products, services, or verticals.
  • Exceptional relationship management and executive communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, early‑stage startup environment with high levels of autonomy.
Core Values
  • Ally is our favorite moniker.
  • The most inclusive approach is worth the work.
  • Celebrate measurable improvements in equity outcomes.
  • Fearless advocates for belonging.
  • Incentives matter to stakeholders choosing our products.
  • Taking initiative is actually giving.
  • We are accountable for the experience of patients and providers.
  • Empathy and humility are the real dynamic duo.
