Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is seeking a Part‑Time Server to create meaningful dining experiences for residents. As part of a collaborative team, you’ll respond to feedback with care and contribute to a positive, caring community environment.

You’ll assist in Casual Dining, guide residents through menu choices, take orders, and serve courses from beverages to desserts, while keeping the dining area welcoming and tidy.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years of age or older.
• No previous work experience is required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English with residents, guests, and employees.
• Ability to secure required food handler permits as required by local ordinances within two weeks of hire.
• State regulations may require certain applicants to obtain a work permit before beginning employment.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the dining experience by assisting residents in Casual Dining by carrying trays, offering beverages, and proactively meeting service needs.
• Create memorable moments in Fine Dining by greeting tables, guiding residents through menu selections, taking orders, and serving courses.
• Keep the dining room clean by clearing and resetting tables, handling dishes, refilling water, and setting tables before meals.
• Help keep things clean and organized by vacuuming carpets, cleaning the salad bar, and completing other tasks as needed.
• Deliver room service meals and pick up trays with a friendly, positive attitude.
• Listen and respond kindly to resident comments or concerns and share feedback with a manager.
• Support other tasks as directed by supervisors or managers.
