Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is seeking a Part-Time Server to create meaningful dining experiences for residents as part of a collaborative team. You’ll help with casual and fine dining, greet tables, take orders, and deliver a full range of courses, from beverages to desserts.

Responsibilities include clearing and resetting tables, maintaining a clean dining room, assisting with room service, and handling feedback kindly.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years of age or older.
• No previous work experience is required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English with residents, guests, and employees.
• Ability to secure required food handler permits as required by local ordinances within two (2) weeks of hire.
• State regulations may require certain applicants to obtain a work permit before beginning employment.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the dining experience by assisting residents in Casual Dining by carrying trays, offering beverages, and proactively meeting service needs.
• Create memorable moments in Fine Dining by greeting tables, guiding residents through menu selections, accurately taking orders, and serving courses.
• Keep the dining room clean by clearing and resetting tables, handling dishes, refilling water, and setting tables before meals.
• Help keep things clean and organized by vacuuming carpets, cleaning the salad bar, and completing other tasks as needed.
• Deliver room service meals and pick up trays with a friendly, positive attitude.
• Listen to resident comments or concerns and share feedback with a manager or supervisor when needed.
• Support other tasks assigned by supervisors or managers.
