Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking a Pay Application Specialist for our Data Center Team in Lexington, KY. You will manage subcontractor billing, ensure data accuracy, and maintain backup documentation.

Responsibilities include coordinating with project management, auditors, and vendors, updating records, and supporting special projects while upholding Gray's standards of integrity and accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, mathematics, construction management, finance, or a related degree and/or a minimum of three years of related experience.
• Construction industry experience is preferred.
• Must be physically present in the Lexington office with potential for hybrid remote work.
• Proficient with word processing, Excel, and e‑mail; CMIC/Textura or similar systems are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractor billing invoices, ensuring completeness and accuracy with required backup.
• Enter subcontractor and Gray billing data into customer pay application system.
• Collaborate with project management to capture data in line with budgets, schedules of values, and contracts.
