Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a four-year degree in accounting/finance or related field with at least three years of experience, proficiency in CMIC/Textura, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in accounting, mathematics, construction management, finance, or related degree and/or a minimum of three years of related experience.
• CMIC, Textura, or similar construction financial system experience is a plus.
• Comfortable working with numerical data, documentation, and digital workflow, as well as repetitive or consistent tasks.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to solve problems, communicate effectively, and coordinate efforts with internal Gray personnel and external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractor billing invoices, confirm completeness, accuracy, and maintain backup documentation.
• Enter subcontractor and Gray billing data into customer pay application.
• Collaborate with project management teams to ensure accurate, timely capture of data in line with budgets, schedules of values, and contractual obligations.
• Monitor pay applications for compliance with customer standards, contract terms, and internal procedures.
• Update documentation and digital records per Gray Construction’s standards.
• Monitor status and deadlines of pay applications and follow up to resolve discrepancies.
• Update records for internal reporting and audits.
• Assist with special projects and training as necessary.
• Work closely with auditors on behalf of customer.
• Partner with Project Managers to ensure understanding of processes.
• Other duties may be assigned.
