Job summary

Qualifications

• Education and experience equivalent to high school graduation.
• Illinois Paraprofessional license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist and collaborate with intervention teachers as needed in planning, executing, and assessing daily plans.
• Assist individuals or groups of students with coursework in content areas.
• Communicate student needs, strengths and weaknesses with intervention teachers and other staff members.
• Assist intervention teachers in supervising students and monitoring progress.
• Perform administrative duties such as copying and filing.
• Advocate for students in academic and personal issues.
