Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated paraprofessional / teacher aide to support students with special needs at Metro Prep High School, Grade School, and Laureate Day School. The role involves assisting teachers in delivering individualized, small group, and large group lessons, providing academic and social support, maintaining classroom rules, participating in weekly planning, and aiding in crisis intervention.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with implementing individualized, small group, and large group lessons.
• Support students academically and socially.
• Help maintain classroom and school rules.
• Participate in weekly planning sessions.
• Assist staff in crisis intervention and physical management.

Work Schedule

Regular School Year: Monday - Friday (8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.)
