Job summary

Queen of Pawns & Jewelry, Inc. in Port Saint Lucie, FL is seeking a customer-focused team member for our pawn and jewelry store. You will provide excellent service, evaluate items for loans, and process pawn and sale transactions with Pawn Master.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, negotiating favorable prices, maintaining store presentation, and ensuring compliance with security and procedures. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Ability to follow written, oral, or diagram form instructions.

Responsibilities

• Delivers excellent customer service to every customer who walks through the door.
• Provides loans via pawn and accurately determine loan amounts using jewelry valuation methods.
• Accurately use Pawn Master for all transactions.
• Accepts payments on pawns, sales and layaways.
• Retrieves items back to those who have repaid loans.
• Salesperson: be knowledgeable of items, engage customers and negotiate best price.
• Provide product demonstrations when requested.
• Adheres to industry regulations and security procedures.
• Responsible for following procedures manuals and ensuring proper labeling and storage of merchandise.
• Keeps the store neat and clean and pulls merchandise from storage for sale prep.
• Handles all merchandise respectfully and works with management on other duties.
