Job summary

Allan Myers Inc. is seeking an entry-level Civil/Construction Management engineer to support paving operations on heavy civil projects. You will help plan, schedule, execute, and control site work, while maintaining safety and efficiency on assigned job sites.

You will develop work plans, review contract plans, and ensure compliance with specifications. The role involves basic milling/paving knowledge, documentation, and coordination with crews and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, related major, or equivalent
• 0-2 years of engineering or construction experience
• Microsoft Office proficient
• Valid driver’s license required

Responsibilities

• Communicates and reinforces company culture and safety practices with team members
• Develops work plans and schedules for paving operations to maximize crew productivity
• Interprets contract plans and specifications
• Ensures work meets requirements and production targets
• Documents projects through diaries, photos, videos, inspections, RFIs and logs
• Assists in submissions, tracking and final approvals
• Coordinates material deliveries and trucking needs to maintain production and quality
• Tracks quantities of work and inputs into billing estimates
• Performs additional duties as assigned
• Supports safety initiatives and participation in Safe Production Teams
