Job summary

E&B Paving is seeking an Estimator / Project Manager to lead bidding, cost estimation, and project delivery from proposal through completion. You will review plans, perform quantity takeoffs, obtain subcontractor quotes, prepare bids, and coordinate with field staff to ensure safe, on-time execution.

Strong communication, organizational skills, and experience with estimating tools are preferred. A Bachelor's in Construction Management or Civil Engineering or an equivalent combination of

Qualifications

• Knowledge of INDOT specifications and the ability to learn quickly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project; experience with estimating software.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate commitment to safety and ensure projects comply with policies and regulations.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and clients.
• Review and manage project contracts, change orders, and related documentation.
• Perform quantity takeoffs, obtain subcontractor pricing, prepare cost estimates, and submit bids.
• Manage awarded projects, coordinate schedules, monitor costs, and maintain documentation.
• Coordinate with field superintendents and Area Manager for project execution.
• Assist with billing, change orders, and collections.
• Maintain clear communication with customers, field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors.
