Wiregrass Construction is seeking an experienced Paving Equipment Operator to join the paving crew in Birmingham. You will operate asphalt paving equipment, maintain quality and grade, and work closely with foremen and drivers on a fast-paced site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating asphalt paving equipment.
• Ability to read grade stakes, paving plans, and project specifications is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate asphalt paving equipment (paver, screed, roller, broom, milling machine).
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and monitor equipment performance.
• Coordinate with foremen, truck drivers, and crew to ensure efficient paving operations.
