Job summary

Hri,-Inc. in Montoursville, PA seeks a Construction Supervisor to oversee paving crews under supervision, ensuring safety and quality. This hourly, non-exempt role requires coordination with a Project Superintendent and field management to meet plans and production pace.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience, a valid license, basic math skills, and required safety certifications, including PennDOT Flagger Training, CPR/First Aid. Overtime and night shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Basic math skills required.
• PennDOT Flagger Training required.
• CPR and first aid training required.
• Must obtain and maintain all mandatory training.

Responsibilities

• Supervise craft employees to ensure tasks are safely and productively completed on schedule.
• Develop plans with the Project Superintendent to meet specs, safety needs and production pace.
• Prioritize, schedule and communicate plans to crew, customers and inspecting agency.
• Plan work schedules, manpower, materials, trucking, equipment and traffic control.
• Monitor performance to ensure safety, rules and procedures are followed.
• Complete daily quantity reports and employee time records.
• Advise management of potential problems and assist in resolving them.
