Nidy Sports Construction Company LLC is seeking a dependable Paver Roller to operate a roller and related equipment on outdoor construction sites in Florida. The role focuses on compacting asphalt and paving surfaces to meet project specifications while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The successful candidate will monitor surface grade, assist the crew as needed, and perform routine equipment inspections.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a roller or similar heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of asphalt paving and compaction practices.
• Ability to safely operate equipment and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate vibratory and static rollers safely and efficiently.
• Compact asphalt, aggregate, and other paving materials to required specifications.
• Follow directions from the paving foreman and equipment operators.
• Monitor the surface for proper grade, smoothness, and compaction.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Maintain safe working distances from other equipment and crew members.
• Assist the paving crew with general job-site duties when needed.
• Keep equipment clean and properly maintained.
• Follow all company safety policies and job-site procedures.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and on active construction sites.
