Job summary

ARA Brand is seeking engineering technicians for full-time roles in Champaign, IL (and other locations). You will participate in pavement testing and data collection projects, learn modern equipment operation, and process data using Excel and proprietary tools.

A willingness to travel about half the time and work a flexible schedule is required. No prior pavement testing experience is needed; candidates should have strong communication, attention to detail, and a readiness to learn and be

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 21 and pass a DOT physical.
• Willing to travel, weekends and nights with overtime when needed.
• Familiarity with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Participate in pavement testing and transportation data collection projects nationwide.
• Learn operation, calibration, and maintenance of data collection equipment.
• Drive or operate data collection systems including van- or trailer-mounted setups.
• Process, compare, and analyze data using proprietary tools and Excel.
