Job summary

ARA is seeking an Engineering Technician to support pavement testing and transportation data collection across the U.S. You will learn and operate modern data collection equipment and contribute to data processing in the office and on site.

Travel is expected around half the time, with a flexible schedule including weekends and nights. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; must be 21+ and pass a DOT physical.
• Excellent driving skills and ability to drive long distances.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for weeks at a time.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and nights when needed.
• Basic proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Participate in pavement testing and data collection projects across the U.S.
• Learn operation, calibration, and maintenance of data collection equipment.
• Drive or operate van- or trailer-mounted data collection systems.
• Process, compare, and analyze data using proprietary tools and Excel.
