ARA is seeking experienced civil engineers for the Transportation Division, Pavement Sciences & Engineering Directorate. This on-site role supports pavement and geotechnical research and asset management, with preferred offices in Champaign, IL (on-site).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of pavement/geotechnical experience.
• PE license preferred.
• Ability to lead research projects independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication; publications a plus.
• Eligible for government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform and lead project work in pavement/geotechnical engineering.
• Work toward industry status as a subject matter expert.
• Lead and contribute to business development and marketing efforts.
• Develop winning proposals in response to RFPs in area of expertise.
• Present research and information at conferences, training courses, industry meetings, etc.
