Job summary

Qualifications

• Read and follow layouts, measurements, and basic plans for pavement striping projects.
• Experience or willingness to learn operation of striping equipment, sprayers, and related hand tools.
• Commitment to job site safety, including use of PPE and traffic control procedures.
• Physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather, stand for extended periods, lift materials, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Reliable transportation to San Diego, CA job sites and willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or occasional weekends.
• Strong teamwork and communication with crew leaders and coworkers.
• Previous experience in paving, construction, or striping beneficial but not required; on-the-job training may be provided.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred

Responsibilities

• Apply pavement markings such as lines, arrows, and symbols according to project specs.
• Prepare work areas and load/unload striping equipment and materials.
• Set up traffic control as needed and operate striping machinery and hand tools.
• Measure and lay out patterns; ensure accurate and clean paint or thermoplastic application.
• Perform basic maintenance and cleanup of tools and equipment.
• Work closely with crew members and follow safety guidelines.
• Adjust to changing job site conditions and schedules.
