Job summary

Colorado Barricade Co. seeks a Field Technician/Flagger to support traffic safety operations in the Denver area. You will load and unload materials, install and service traffic control devices, and direct traffic at work sites under supervision.

The role requires outdoor work, adherence to safety rules, and willingness to travel across sites. Ideal candidates are adaptable, able to read maps, communicate effectively, and manage multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• Ability to read maps and knowledge of local streets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building relationships.
• Self-motivated; capable of taking initiative and prioritizing deadlines.
• Willing to travel and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time wearing PPE and follow safety rules.
• Direct traffic safely using signals and flagging.
• Load/unload equipment from trucks and assist with material handling.
• Assist with setup of work zones, tape layout, and crosswalks.
• Operate traffic control devices (arrow boards, message boards) and signage.
• Maintain paperwork for Pre-Trip and Post-Trip inspections and organize yard inventory.
