The role emphasizes traffic control per MUTCD, road repairs, and storm drain upkeep, with CDL preferred and a strong emphasis on team collaboration.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum one year experience in a related field.
• CDL or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Ability to read traffic control manuals and guidance documents.

Mansioni

• Maintains 30 miles of unpaved roadways and shoulders using a grader, rollers, water truck, and related equipment.
• Fills potholes, seals cracks, and operates traffic control per MUTCD and Phoenix barricade manual.
• Inspects and maintains storm drain systems and associated structures.
• Maintains tools, traffic devices, signs, and equipment inventories; prepares material orders.
• Creates traffic control plans for submittal and logs core samples for historical data.
• Performs inspections of roads and storm drains and documents findings.
• Assists with sign maintenance, striping, and retro-reflectivity testing; supports street sweeping operations.
• Responds to after-hours emergencies and works in extreme temperatures.
