The City of Peoria is seeking a motivated worker to perform street maintenance and related tasks in the Public Works department. The ideal candidate will have basic construction knowledge, be able to operate with a team, and contribute to timely repairs and improvements for roadways.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least six months of relevant experience. A valid Arizona Class “D” driver’s license is required upon hire.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalency.
• 6 months’ experience.
• Some previous experience required in the same or similar previous positions.

Responsabilités

• You will perform general street maintenance tasks such as placing hot asphalt for repair, filling potholes, removing obstructions and debris from roadways, providing traffic control, attend trainings, and sharing your unique talents in all tasks listed and all others as assigned.
